Joey Gavin is a Dublin based musician and "Run" is his first single release of 2016, the first instalment of his second EP.

This half sees a departure from Gavin's Nick Drake-esque alt. folk vibes on "Circles", going into more art pop territories. "Run" is a chaotic, kaleidoscopic psych-pop jaunt, a beautiful taste of what is to be featured on the aforementioned EP.

The accompanying B-side, "The Hunt" is a slow-burning folk track recorded in the isolated Irish countryside.
