Track Name: North Beach Park
I remember listening to the Empire! Empire! record by the lakefront, all alone for the first time in a long time. I had spent the last 2 years driving back and forth from your house, wasting my time fanning a flame that already burned out long ago.

If life is just a journey to a lonely grave, then why is love and loss so hard? I can't wrap my mind around how fast I fell this low. And I cannot blame anyone but myself for this.

I don't how I got here at all. I don't know how I ended up so low.
Track Name: Varsity Warrior Football
I wish I was blessed like the jocks in your graduating class; it seems so easy for them to turn off their minds and just forget. To go out for the weekend, to make new friends, just to fit in. They don't all think about these things like I do, like the fact that I cannot take any of this with me when I leave. I am all alone now, and I think it's staying that way.
Track Name: Candlewood Drive
I just want to sleep, I just want to go, I'm sick of defeat, I'm happy alone.
Track Name: Memorial Day
I'm at a standstill, and I don't remember ever being this low in my life. I'm always living in the past, Thanksgivings and Christmases when I was just a kid, before I knew about half of the things that keep me up when I'm trying to sleep.

And I know that I couldn't have been made for this world, when every friend is just a friend at arm's length, and I've made mistakes that not even time can take away. I've never told this to anyone, but sometimes I feel like my best days are behind me.
